Qataris with an interest in science and research are invited to apply for an internship in a world-class research programme.
Applications have now opened for Weill Cornell Medicine - Qatar Biomedical Research Training Programme for Nationals, which will restart in January 2017. Applications can be submitted online until November 6.
The trainees are paid a stipend as part of a comprehensive compensation package. The programme is fully funded by WCM-Q, and is organised in partnership with the Qatar Science Leadership Programme.
The programme was launched in 2011 and has so far provided training to 28 interns. It was inspired by Qatar National Vision 2030 and the goal of creating a knowledge-based economy by helping build the national human capacity and training Qataris for a post-hydrocarbon future.
