QIB declares winners of campaign draw

Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has announced the first 12 winners of the “Win Back Your Spend” summer promotion.
The eligible customers used their QIB credit and debit cards domestically and internationally between June 20 and July 31, 2016.
 The winners were selected in a draw conducted in the presence of an official representative from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce and QIB representatives.
The winners included five QIB Visa credit and debit cardholders who made international purchases, and five customers who used their QIB Visa credit cards in Qatar.
The customers received their “spends back” up to QR15,000. All customers who spent a minimum of QR5,000 using their QIB Visa debit or credit cards during the aforementioned period were eligible to enter the draw.
QIB also announced two winners who used their QIB MasterCard debit cards internationally between June 20 and July 31.
Tamayuz and private banking customers who spent a minimum of QR5,000 using their Platinum and World MasterCard debit cards during the promotion period were automatically eligible to enter the draw. QIB selected two winners who each received their total international spends back up to QR25,000.

With cashless convenience and the ability to withdraw cash or instantly pay for purchases, all of QIB’s cards are accepted locally and internationally, and can be used at millions of merchant outlets and more than 1.8mn ATMs globally.
QIB Platinum and World debit cards were designed with the needs of the bank’s Tamayuz and private customers in mind, and offer exclusive privileges to complement their lifestyle.
These include Takaful and warranty extensions, discounts and offers when dining and shopping, and 24/7 International Concierge Service.
In addition, World, Infinite, and QIB-Qatar Airways co-branded Signature cardholders also enjoy a complimentary LoungeKey membership and unlimited lounge access at more than 600 airports worldwide, including Al Maha Transit Lounge – Departure Area at Hamad International airport.
Recently, QIB announced that its customers may now use their debit cards, in addition to their credit cards for secure online purchases and payment anywhere on the web.
Customer can also now change their credit card PIN number from any of QIB ATMs in the country.  
QIB customers still have a chance to enter the second draw in October for card purchases and payments until September 30.
Five QIB Visa credit and debit cardholders who make international purchases, and five customers who use their credit cards within Qatar, will win their spend back up to QR15,000. A grand prize winner will receive QR50,000, while one MasterCard customer will win a grand prize of QR75,000.
