The Community Policing Department and Permanent Committee for Abu Samra Border Post, in association with the Qatar Haj Mission, bade farewell to Haj pilgrims travelling by land.
A number of officers from both the department and the Permanent Committee attended the farewell ceremony, according to a report available on the Ministry of Interior’s (MoI) website.
Colonel Dr Ahmad Zayed al-Mohannadi, director, Community Policing Department, said the department has been working to highlight its humanitarian and social commitment through its participation in events and ceremonies.
