Ooredoo has announced that all businesses in Qatar will stop receiving paper bills from September 30, as part of efforts to reduce the company’s carbon footprint in the country. All Ooredoo business customers will now be moved to the company’s e-Billing systems ‘BillXpress’ or online via My Ooredoo, which offers customer’s an easy-to-read PDF version of their monthly bill, via email or online, and provides a secure way to view and compare new bills with previous bills. Ooredoo business customers will receive their final paper bill at the end of this month, and as of October 2016 will be able to access their business account information online 24/7 and ‘on-the go’.
Business customers can call 800 8000 or their account manager for inquiries and registration.With the final phase of paperless billing coming into effect, all business customers who do not register to Ooredoo’s e-Billing methods before September 30 will be able to view their bills only on the My Ooredoo website.
The company is urging all customers to register for e-Billing, in order to receive the monthly billing emails, and enjoy an instant and secure way to view their usage information.
The environment has been a priority for the company for many years, and Ooredoo was one of the first companies in Qatar to tackle issues on e-Waste management and recycling.
