Arab League condemns Israeli crimes in Jerusalem, Hebron

The Arab League yesterday condemned the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation government, the last of which was the execution of three Palestinians, “in cold blood” on Friday in Jerusalem and Al Khalil (Hebron).
Assistant Secretary General for Palestine and the occupied Arab territories Saeed Abu Ali said in a statement that the international community and its institutions concerned, chiefly the Security Council, must bear their responsibilities in putting an urgent and final end for these field executions, practices and grave violations which run counter to international legitimacy and laws.
Abu Ali stressed the need to provide the necessary protection for the Palestinian people as a result of the seriousness of the current situation and to enable the Palestinian people to exercise freedom and independence.
He noted that the continuation of the Israeli occupation authorities in committing a series of systematic escalation of these heinous crimes and killings committed by the Israeli army and settlers against the Palestinian people coincide with the annual 34th anniversary of Sabra and Shatila massacre.
He explained that this confirms that the Israeli government continues in its escalation policy and ignores political and diplomatic efforts aimed at coming out of the current political stalemate due to the intransigent positions of the Israeli government.
Yesterday, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot dead a Palestinian youth in Hebron.
IOF prevented crews from the Red Crescent to access to the place and took the body to an unknown destination.
He was the fourth Palestinian to be killed by Israeli forces in less than 24 hours.
