HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud headed Qatar’s delegation to the closing session of the 17th Summit of Non-Aligned Movement (Nam), held in Isla Margarita, Venezuela.
The Deputy Premier and the accompanying delegation left Isla Margarita later and were seen off upon departure by Venezuelan minister for Ecosocialism and Water Ernesto Paiva and HE Qatar’s ambassador to Venezuela Battal bin Meajeb al-Dosari.
Earlier, HE al-Mahmoud met with Algerian parliament speaker Mohamed al-Arabi Ould Khalifa.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in various fields, and exchanged views on a number of topics of common concern.
