HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani met Moroccan ambassador to Qatar Al-Makki Kawan yesterday on the occasion of the end of his tenure in Qatar. During the meeting, HH the Deputy Emir presented the outgoing ambassador with the Sash of Merit in recognition of his role in enhancing ties between Qatar and his country. HH the Deputy Emir also wished the ambassador every success in his future assignments and for the bilateral relations further progress and prosperity. Kawan thanked HH the Deputy Emir and officials in the state for the co-operation he received which contributed to the success of his mission.
