Ooredoo’s Eid al-Adha booth at Hamad International Airport (HIA) welcomed hundreds of travellers last week.
The booth, which was open from September 10 to 13, was designed to help mark Eid al-Adha with those travelling over the break.
Volunteers distributed hundreds of colouring kits to families and hosted a special “photo booth” where people could take souvenir photographs.
Located by the children’s play area in Departures area, the booth also saw daily appearances by Ooredoo’s mascots, the Alrabaa, who posed for photographs and entertained children.
Fatima Sultan al-Kuwari, director of community and public relations at Ooredoo Qatar, said: “I want to thank Hamad International Airport for their partnership on this booth, as it enabled us to share Eid greetings and celebrations with those travelling. With National Day around the corner, we hope to work with HIA again to showcase the best of Qatar to its citizens, visitors and travellers from around the world.”
Besides the Eid booth, Ooredoo organised a pop-up Ooredoo Shop in the Departures area of HIA, allowing travellers to make last-minute purchases of services such as Ooredoo Passport, top up their accounts or pay their Shahry bills.
