Barwa Bank has announced the names of the winners of its ‘Summer Spend Campaign’ for 2016.
Salem Saeed al-Marri, Samer al-Jaser, and Tarek Bilal each won a return ticket to their destination of choice after achieving the highest spend (purchases and bill payment) during each of the campaign’s three months, which concluded on September 9.
Barwa Bank’s ‘Summer Spend Campaign’ gave clients the chance to earn up to four times their loyalty points when using their Barwa Bank credit cards, thereby making their summer spending “more rewarding than ever.”
“At Barwa Bank, we strive to not only provide our clients with the best Shariah-compliant banking products and services in the market, but also to thank them for their trust in the bank as their banking provider of choice,” a statement said.
Barwa Bank clients benefit from the loyalty points earned by converting them to Qatar Airways free miles (Qmiles), or by redeeming them for vouchers, discounts, and privileges, which can be used to shop at their favourite retailers, including Carrefour, Home Centre, Sharaf DG, Max Electronics, Splash, City Lifestyle, the Baby Shop, and
Nojoom from Ooredoo.
The bank’s clients still have a chance to win back their purchases of up to QR25,000 when using their MasterCard Platinum credit cards. The special campaign, valid till November 9, gives Barwa Bank Platinum MasterCard holders an opportunity to spend up QR25,000 and owe nothing.
As part of the campaign, two customers are selected every month through an unbiased electronic system, and the highest transaction made is paid back in cash. Both existing and new Barwa Bank MasterCard Platinum credit card clients making a minimum number of 10 transactions per billing month are eligible for the offer.
MasterCard customers are also eligible to take advantage of the special offer, provided that they meet Barwa Bank’s terms and conditions. Winners will be announced at the end of the campaign. Clients can apply for a Barwa Bank MasterCard Platinum credit card by visiting one of the bank’s branches or by calling its contact centre on 800 8555.
