The State of Qatar has participated in the 20th session of Arab Ministers of Communications and Information Technology, which concluded in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi.
The Qatari delegation to the meeting was headed by HE the Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Seif Ahmed al-Sulaiti.
The two-day meeting discussed a number of topics, notably the roadmap for Internet Governance Initiative in the Arab region, the regional connectivity for Arab Internet networks project, Second Regional Forum of digital content and the Arab-mail, in addition to issues of cyber security, and the fight against cyber-crime.
The session witnessed Qatar’s joining the Executive Bureau of the Council of Arab Ministers of Communications and Information.
