Al Wakrah Municipality conducted a workshop on food safety at restaurants, aimed at raising the awareness of their workers on related issues.
The workshop stressed the importance of maintaining food safety as failing to abide by the necessary regulations and rules would certainly have its negative consequences on the health of consumers. This would also lead to legal troubles for the outlet. The workshop also pointed out the proper ways of handling frozen meat and chicken, and how to avoid food contamination.
Meanwhile, Al Daayan Municipality Gardens Section has taken the necessary measures to prepare select areas within its streets and roundabouts for winter plants. It has also supported the Sidra trees with wooden beams, and completed the decorative plantation of Simaisma beach.
*Doha Municipality’s Public Inspection Department spotted 441 abandoned vehicles in various areas of the city during August and took the necessary procedures.
Besides, it issued 245 violation reports, and referred other 190 violation reports to the police. During the same period, the department made 341 reconciliations for a number of violations and took 34 affidavits from violators to remove their violations.
