Goic to hold industrial classification course in Doha

The Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consulting (Goic) will hold an industrial classification course from October 23 to 25 at its headquarters in Doha as part of Goic’s specialised training programme for the last quarter of the year.
According to Goic, the course targets industrial classification staff at the ministries of commerce, industry, and economy in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), in addition to employees at statistical departments, customs, other relevant governmental entities, and the private sector.
The course aims at improving industrial statistical skills, developing industrial statistical activities, and coordinating and unifying statistical methods used in the various industrial activities.
Participants will also get to know the latest ISIC4 updates, conversions methods and the harmonised system. The course will be delivered by Hatem al-Rashid, economic specialist at Goic.
Goic offers a number of training workshops to concerned parties according to their needs in various fields through its Training and Capacity Development Programme. It also aims at improving individual and organisational capacities in the industrial sector in GCC countries and Yemen.
