Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC) has launched a microsite www.QatarSustainabilityWeek.com for Qatar Sustainability Week ahead of the inaugural sustainability endeavour taking place from November 13 to 19 across the country.
Available on the site are a range of information on Qatar Sustainability Week, including events, related sustainability news and a list of participating organisations. The site’s events map offers a detailed list of all activities taking place throughout the week across Qatar and how to register for them.
Qatar Sustainability Week aims to create a unique platform to showcase the nation’s sustainability vision. The occasion will provide the sustainability sector in Qatar with the support, co-ordination and expert advice necessary to unite their efforts under an overarching umbrella to achieve the nation’s sustainability goals.
QGBC, a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), encourages companies, institutions, businesses, universities and members of the public to take part by registering their activities and attending some of the planned events.
