Shop closed for good by municipality

Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality has closed a commercial shop permanently for operating without license at Umm Birka Area.
The shop was also found displaying expired food products and meat with unidentifiable source of production. The administrative decision to close the place was issued by Juma Khamis al-Muraikhi, director of Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality.
In the past few months, the municipality has closed four other food facilities for operating without license. The closure was made as part of the inspection campaign on food outlets within the municipality, under the motto ‘Your safety is our top priority’.
Doha Municipality yesterday closed three restaurants – one at Madinat Khalifa South for ten days, and two others at Najma Area for one month each, for preparing and serving foods in unhygienic conditions. The decision was issued by Doha Municipality director Jamal Matar al-Nuaimi.
Al Shamal Municipality Gardens Sector has planted the area in front of the Municipality building and put flower basins on a 165m stretch.
Also, Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality has designed and erected a heritage tower at Hazm Al Jaltah garden at the eastern entrance of Al Khor City.
