Eatery faces action for keeping foodstuff in unhygienic place

Inspectors of the health inspection section of the Doha Municipality have taken action against a restaurant in the Najma area for preparing and keeping foodstuff inside hidden store in unhygienic conditions.
The outlet was issued a report for violating law no. 8 for 1990 on the regulation of human foods control. Besides, all the necessary legal procedures against the outlet have been taken.
Meanwhile, the Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality sprayed insecticides yesterday at Al Khor Park, which was closed for the day. The park will be open to the public from today.
The Ministry of Municipality and Environment’s department of public relations and communications has conducted an awareness lecture on greenhouse emissions at Al Jamilah Independent School for boys. Students of different age categories were introduced to the issue and how to limit the adverse consequences of climate change.
The Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality also conducted an awareness lecture on the safety of food, and the proper ways to keep different food products yesterday at Al Thakhira Independent Primary School for girls.
