Qanat Quartier at The Pearl-Qatar is all set to host another edition of the “Family Fun Fridays” series from today.
The initiative by United Development Company (UDC), master developer of The Pearl-Qatar, aims to attract hundreds of families in Qatar as well as visitors from other GCC countries, until November 11.
“Family Fun Fridays” features a variety of entertainment shows, artistic performances and recreational activities, catering mostly to children. These include balloon twisting, face painting, colouring stations as well as stilt-walkers and mascots, which will be lining up the entire stretch at Qanat Quartier.
Also during the event, cotton candy, popcorn and ice cream will be distributed free to all participants. The fun-filled event will run for four hours, from 5pm to 9pm.
The “Family Fun Fridays” series is part of UDC’s diverse community events to promote The Pearl-Qatar as a family-friendly destination and the different retail areas housed by the Island.
UDC said the choice of Qanat Quartier’s upcoming retail area as a host of this upcoming series “leverages the recent new opening of boutique-style restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores by creating a nice blend of retail and leisure for participants, further showcasing this charming precinct”.
