El Jaish’s table tennis team qualified for the semi-finals of the Arab club championship in Morocco’s city of Agadir after beating Egyptian side Maadi 3-2 in the quarter-finals.
The Qatari side will take on Bahraini side Bahrain in the semifinals of the tournament, which concludes today. El Jaish is participating in the championship for the first time and the team comprises Ahmed Khalil al-Mohannadi, Li Ping, Khalifa Nasser and Tunisian player Adam Hamam. (QNA)
