HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HH the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani performed the funeral prayers of the late HH the Grandfather Emir Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani at Imam Mohammed bin Abdulwahab Mosque in Doha on Monday.
HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al -Thani, HE Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al -Thani, HE Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Khalifa Al -Thani, HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Personal Representative of HH the Emir, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al -Thani, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HE Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Speaker of the Advisory (Shura) Council, HE Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi, Their Excellencies sons of HH the Father Emir, took part in the prayer which was performed after Asr prayer.
A number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs, Ministers, senior state officials, dignitaries and citizens also attended the prayer.
President of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain along with a number of Their Excellencies the guests and Their Excellencies Members of the Diplomatic Corps accredited to Qatar also took part in the prayer, praying to Allah the Almighty to have mercy on the soul of Late HH the Grandfather Emir and make his residence paradise.
