The country will continue to experience high humidity levels on Wednesday and Thursday as misty to foggy conditions are expected at night and early in the morning, especially along the western coast and central parts of Qatar, the Met department has said.

This, in turn, would bring down visibility to 1km or less in some places, the weather office said in a post on social media.
Dense fog and poor visibility were reported from a number of areas on Tuesday morning, with motorists being advised to drive carefully and follow safety instructions during foggy conditions.
The detailed forecast for inshore areas Wednesday says hazy to misty/foggy conditions are likely in some places in the early hours, followed by moderate temperature during the day along with some clouds.
Hazy to misty conditions are also expected in some offshore areas at first along with clouds.
A maximum temperature of 35C was recorded in Al Sheehaniya, Karana, Batna and some other places Tuesday, followed by 34C in the Qatar University and Doha airport areas and Al Rayyan, among others. The minimum temperature, on the other hand, was 18C in Dukhan and 19C in Abu Samra and Karana.
Wednesday, the mercury level is expected to reach a high of 33C in Abu Samra and 32C in Doha, Wakrah, Mesaieed and Al Khor, while the minimum will be 18C in Dukhan and 20C in Abu Samra. The minimum temperature will be relatively higher in Doha at 26C.

Safe driving advice: In view of the expected conditions, the Met department has urged people to be cautious while driving in foggy conditions.
On its part, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) advised motorists not to use hazard lights while driving through fog, stressing that these lights were meant for emergency stops. “Instead, use fog lights and low-beam lights,” the ministry tweeted.
The MoI urged motorists to remain alert, noting that visibility was low along most roads - especially highways - due to heavy fog early on Tuesday morning. “In adverse weather conditions, slow down your vehicle, leave more space between vehicles and avoid overtaking. Be cautious,” it said in another tweet.
