Gulf Incon - Qatar in association with its partner Metabowerke Germany, the world’s leading power tool manufacturer, recently organised an event, ‘Winning Through Innovative Solutions,’ for their end users.
Metabo develops and manufactures optimum system solutions for drilling, screw driving, cutting, grinding and sawing for the building and construction industry.
A new range of Metabo manufacturing tools was displayed at the event which was attended by senior managers of various end users.
Gulf Incon managing director Adnan al-Mannai, general manager Srinivisan Vaidyanathan, sales and marketing senior manager Sajjad Ahmed Khan, Metabo’s Middle East and India general manager Marcel Cenia and business development manager Prateek Yadav were present.
The highlight of the event was Metabo’s bevelling tool.
The patented one-touch controller enables a tool-free adjustment of bevel height without an additional clamping lever.
Metabo’s Cenia said the future of metal working is cordless.
A detailed presentation was delivered on Metabo’s cordless section with the newly launched 36 V 9” grinders and the new range of medium duty drill / drivers and impact drill with an outstanding weight/performance ratio.
The Metabo official stressed on the need for giving attention to the danger of concrete dust and demonstrated the effectiveness of Metabo’s dust extraction system.
He highlighted the necessity of the use of dust guards not only indoors but also outdoors.
The event concluded with a raffle draw with a Porsche designed Metabo Multihammer as the grand prize.
“With the strict instruction for work safety by the Qatari authorities, Metabo pledges to remain as a partner for safety without compromise,” Cenia added.
