A top class amateur field of 200 golfers from the Gulf region competed in the 15th IHG Qatar Mixed Open, represented by InterContinental Doha, InterContinental Doha The City and Crowne Plaza Doha The Business Park, in association with Mitsubishi Motors.
The two-day golfing agenda included a complimentary practice round followed by one tournament round played in “Greensomes” format over the Championship Course at the Doha Golf Club.
Mitsubishi Motors sponsored the tournament for the fourth year in a row. Qatar Automobiles Company general manager Ihab El Feky said: “Like IHG we also share the same values of corporate social responsibility, promoting sports and a healthy lifestyle, and giving back to the society.”
The prizes included the top five couples and special prizes such as the most exercised couples, the longest drive, and nearest to the pin.
