Commercial Bank hosts Career Day with ministry

Commercial Bank has hosted a Career Day with the Ministry of Administrative Development Labour & Social Affairs to promote the bank’s Qatari employment opportunities.
Commercial Bank, through its National Development Programme, supports Qatar National Vision (QNV) 2030 by developing human capital and works closely with the ministry to provide advanced careers opportunities for Qataris, the bank has said in a statement.
“The recruitment and training of Qatari nationals is a business priority for Commercial Bank and offers several career development programmes to launch young Qataris’ careers,” the statement noted, adding that participation in the ministry Career Day confirmed Commercial Bank’s commitment to employ, guide and train young Qataris to become the next generation of highly skilled banking leaders in
Qatar.
Further, the statement points out that Commercial Bank regards CSR as integral to its business in support of Qatar’s development - in line with QNV 2030. “Commercial Bank strives to be an outstanding corporate citizen by supporting local and international socio-economic initiatives that benefit Qatari society as a whole, including humanitarian projects and charitable work for the disadvantaged, educational, training and personal development programmes for Qatari youth, sports and health initiatives, support for Qatari arts and culture, and the bank’s Qatar National Day programmes that celebrate and preserve Qatar’s cultural heritage.”
