The Jaidah Automotive Wholesale Department and General Motors-AC Delco Parts have held their annual customer appreciation event to celebrate 100 years of AC Delco with the introduction of new products in the market.
The launch of lubricants and dry charge batteries under AC Delco comes as a new addition to the “strong portfolio of products” in the Qatari market for Jaidah Automotive, the company has said in a press statement.
The event was attended by several loyal customers who have helped develop the AC Delco brand in Qatar.
Jaidah Automotive is the exclusive dealer of Chevrolet cars in Qatar.
Jaidah Automotive’s KT Rao, manager of Automotive Wholesale, said: “The AC Delco dry-charged conventional batteries are designed using advanced battery technology to deliver optimum power and minimal fluid loss.
“AC Delco engine oils offer world-class quality lubricants that are designed to meet the most demanding specifications required for the Middle East region.
“This new addition to the market will benefit passenger cars and heavy-duty trucks alike.”
The launch of the new AC Delco products “was met with great enthusiasm from the attendees”, the statement noted.
Jaidah Automotive and AC Delco Parts also showed their appreciation of wholesale clients in Qatar by presenting five appreciation awards to long-standing customers – Ali International Trading Est, Al Faris Trading Est, Teyseer Service Centre, Khalid Saif Auto Spare Parts and Doha Motors & Trading Co. During the event, all customers were presented with special promotions on products.
Ahmed Zayan, Autolab Centres manager, said: “We are showing our appreciation by recognising our five most valuable clients who have shown valuable support to Jaidah Automotive and AC Delco.”
Tom Sutton from Parts Business welcomed the guests and thanked them for their loyalty during the launch, while Promod Kishan from Product Development gave a speech recounting the company’s history dating back to 1916 and how it came to be known as AC Delco today.
