AAB ‘main official sponsor’ of exhibition

Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co (AAB), the exclusive agent for Toyota and Lexus vehicles in Qatar, is participating in the ongoing 11th international exhibition of homeland security – Milipol Qatar 2016.
AAB is the main official sponsor of the event, which is being held at Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre until today.
The exhibition, held under the patronage of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, was inaugurated by HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani on Monday.
Salman Abdullah Abdulghani attended the inauguration ceremony along with Serdar Toktamis, CEO of AAB, and senior managers of the company.
On the occasion, the CEO said: “Being the automotive market leaders, AAB always feels the responsibility as a corporate citizen to give back to the society by supporting the government in its various initiatives – be it sports, education, exhibitions, philanthropy, etc. Moreover, the Ministry of Interior – organisers of the Milipol exhibition – is one of the biggest customers with Toyota vehicles in their fleet.
“A majority of the vehicles sold to Qatar Armed Forces and other security forces are Land Cruiser station wagons. Land Cruiser is a true go-anywhere, all-terrain four-wheel-drive SUV that has always exceeded expectations around the globe.”
During a press conference held in May this year, AAB chairman Osama Abdullah Abdulghani had highlighted the significance of the exhibition and noted that the company was “privileged and honoured to sponsor – in a significant manner – all Milipol Qatar events since 1996”.
“For our support, we have been awarded the status of main official sponsor with Toyota and Lexus vehicles designated as the official cars for the event. We are extremely grateful to be associated with this prestigious event,” he said.
The company is displaying vehicles used by various ministries at the AAB booth in the exhibition centre. It is also providing a fleet of Toyota and Lexus vehicles for the transportation of officials.
