The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will close the first 400m of Arab League Street heading northwards (to Al Kheesa) from Leabib Intersection.
The closure is from Thursday night until Sunday morning. The closure is being made to enable Ashghal to lay the final asphalt wearing course and road marking on the stretch of the road.
During the closure, road users from Arab League Street going towards the north could use Al Torfa Street and the local roads (as shown in the map).
Those from Al Torfa Street heading northwards can use local roads (shown in the map) to reach the service road parallel to the Arab League Street, which will remain open to traffic.
Those works are going on to complete the roads improvement works around Al Duhail camp project.
