Ooredoo, KidzMondo Doha partner on learning experience

Ooredoo has partnered with KidzMondo Doha on a new interactive learning experience for children when the indoor ‘edutainment’ theme park opens at the end of this year.
Designed to teach children about the power and potential of network technology, the Ooredoo Engineer Experience will provide a unique ‘telecom’ experience for visiting children.
An agreement in this regard was signed by Ooredoo Qatar chief operating officer Yousuf Abdulla al-Kubaisi and KidzMondo Doha general manager Nabil R Barakat.
Tasks in the Ooredoo Zone will include doing maintenance for the city by repairing tower signals, following a map to reconnect the buildings, and more.
For children with an interest in technology, the Ooredoo Zone will introduce them to the old system of connecting telephone calls and how cables across the city are connected today to receive clear signals, while showcasing signal repair work of Ooredoo engineers in supporting the Ooredoo Supernet.
The partnership aims to further enrich KidzMondo Doha’s fun learning experience and help inspire children aged two to 14 years to realise their full potential and further their development.
“Through this unique indoor theme park, children will be introduced to the daily challenges of delivering incredible connectivity to the people of Qatar – and the interesting daily lives of Ooredoo engineers and technical experts,” said al-Kubaisi.
“The addition of the Ooredoo Zone to our unique edutainment theme park will perfectly complement our existing partnerships,” Barakat added.
Marketed as the ‘city of education and entertainment’, KidzMondo Doha features an interactive kid-sized city developed for and managed solely by children. The facility includes more than 80 real-life simulation activities across diverse business environments, and allows children to dress up and role-play realistic tasks in a safe, interactive and educational environment.
