Qatar has condemned an attack on a UN peacekeeping convoy in Mali, leaving many deaths. The Foreign Ministry, in a statement yesterday, denounced the ongoing attacks which took place recently in Mali, especially the attacks that targeted peacekeeping forces and the United Nations, stressing the need for concerted efforts to restore security, stability and peace to Mali.
The statement reiterates Qatar’s firm stance that rejects violence and terrorism in all their forms and manifestations, and whatever motives and causes.
Emir sends condolences to Saudi king
