HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday chaired the third meeting for the board of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy in 2016.
HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, Personal Representative of HH the Emir and vice chairman of the board, attended the meeting along with HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, who is also a board member, and the other members of the board.
The meeting discussed the latest developments and reviewed the current status of all projects related to Qatar 2022 World Cup. It also discussed plans and investment opportunities to be provided by the tournament projects in the coming period.
The meeting took the necessary decisions for moving forward with these plans, and approved the committee’s internal audit plan for the next three years.
