BDO Public Accountants-Qatar sponsored an event held by the Association for Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Middle East in Doha recently, which was attended by more than 100 students pursuing the ACCA
qualification.
Top ACCA student achievers were honoured at the event, including Qatari national
Abdullah al-Jaidah.
A speech was delivered by al-Jaidah, who is ACCA qualified and employed as aviation manager — finance at Qatar Airways.
Yousef al-Naama, one of the top ACCA student achievers who gained the top mark in the Middle East in his most recent ACCA exam, also spoke on the occasion.
He works at Qatargas.
Gavin Brown, managing partner at BDO Qatar, lauded al-Naama’s remarkable achievement as he gained the top mark in the whole of the Middle East region in his most recent ACCA exam.
