HE the Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, yesterday participated in the first meeting of the GCC Economic and Development Affairs Authority, which was held in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
HE the Foreign Minister told Qatar News Agency that the meeting discussed many of the issues on schedule that could encourage developing activities between GCC members in the economic fields.
He stressed that the State of Qatar looks forward to enhancing GCC integration and achieve the interests of its people.
The GCC Economic and Development Affairs Authority was established with the goal of enhancing integration in all fields between GCC members.
It oversees the policies, recommendations, studies and projects that aim to develop co-operation between the member countries in the economic and development fields.
