HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, Turkish Premier Binali Y?ld?r?m and French Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Marc Ayrault are expected to attend the opening of the upcoming 2016 World Policy Conference (WPC) along with Thierry de Montbrial, founder of WPC. The conference will be held at the Sheraton Doha from November 20-22. The opening ceremony will start at 9.30am and is to be followed by a plenary on the ‘Future of the Middle East’. Founded in 2008, WPC is an independent organisation that aims to contribute to improving all aspects of governance, with a view to promoting a world that is more open, more prosperous, fairer and more respectful of the diversity of states and nations.
