HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday received a written message from French President Francois Hollande. The message related to bilateral relations and the means to advance them in different fields. It also pertained to issues of joint interest. Visiting Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo delivered the message to HH the Emir, during a meeting at Al Shaqab arena. The Emir also met Eric Garcetti, mayor of the city of Los
Angeles in the US state of California, on the
occasion. The meeting reviewed bilateral
relations and issues of mutual interest. The
meetings took place on the sidelines of the
annual general assembly of the Association of the National Olympic Committees (ANOC), which is currently taking place in Doha.
