CGC becomes Middle East’s first Audiovisual Provider of Excellence

Consolidated Gulf Company (CGC), a technology system integrator, has become “the first company in the Middle East” to receive ‘Audiovisual Provider of Excellence’ (APEx) designation awarded by InfoComm International, the global Audiovisual (AV) standards organisation.
APEx is InfoComm’s seal of approval for companies that set high standards for employee training and certification and meet their clients’ needs by delivering exceptional solutions. With this mark of distinction, CGC joins an “elite group” of less than 50 integration companies and AV design consulting firms worldwide.
To achieve APEx recognition, CGC said, it demonstrated a high level of service quality and technical capability by building a team of certified technology specialists, adhering to InfoComm standards, and proving ongoing customer satisfaction.
Haitham Ahmad, CGC general manager expressed happiness over his company’s latest feat and said, “It gives us immense satisfaction to be recognised on a global platform. The prestigious APEx certification to CGC is a testimony to our commitment to the highest standards and quality that we are delivering to our esteemed clients in Qatar and overseas. This benchmark reinforces our commitment to continue to bring global standard to market with optimised value for money.”
“For us, it’s all about delivering the best experience to our customers,” said CGC’s head of AV solutions, Vangelis Petridis. “We are a very strong team of experienced professionals who have a single goal: To place a big smile on the faces of our clients.”
“The APEx mark is much more than a logo; it is a company’s commitment to the highest quality and customer service,” said Jonathan Seller, InfoComm’s senior director of development for the Asia-Pacific region.
“When it comes to AV systems, there are fewer than a handful of companies that you can trust for the mega projects; CGC is definitely at the top of my list,” said Antoine Wehbe, senior low current division manager at UCC & KCT and Mall of Qatar Project ELV director.
“We have worked closely with CGC in the MOI HQ project, and have found their service to be creative, timely and accurate,” said Hesham Ahmed, CEG International and MOI HQ project director.
