Qatar Airways congratulates Gawad on Qatar Classic win

Qatar Airways, Official Airline of the 15th annual Qatar Classic Squash Championship 2016, congratulated Karim Abdel Gawad (centre) of Egypt on his incredible win following an electrifying six-day tournament held at Khalifa International Tennis and Squash complex in Doha.
Gawad defeated compatriot Mohamed ElShorbagy in a thrilling victory in the finals to take the title among a world-class pool of 32 competitors. The international men’s tournament attracted the best talent from across the globe to compete for the title at the Qatar Classic Squash Championship 2016, which ran from 13 to 18 November.
Qatar Airways Group chief executive Akbar al-Baker said, “I’d like to extend my sincere congratulations to Karim Abdel Gawad on their thrilling win at the 2016 Qatar Classic Squash Championships. Qatar Airways was also the official airline sponsor of the UCI Road World Championships 2016, bringing the world-class international event to Doha in October – the first time the event was held in the Middle East.
